My name is Luciano Perfetti Villa, and I’m a Colombian economist, a data lover and an advanced diver. Since little I enjoy messing around with computers, and in college, I loved to analyze data and get to the bottom of how society works. After my pregraduate in economics, I did a master degree and a short graduate study in statistics. I have worked in public sector, advising the Minister of Labour during five years, and, lately, as a consultant in public policy using data analysis. Although my focus is labor market and internal migration (violent and non-violent), I have worked with many datasets just to learn R and Python by myself.

This blog is for personal opinions and projects, with a particular focus on my work experience and some data from Colombia. The latter has a fixed purpose, to show the many exercises one can do with public information.
